Asfaltovi Holubi club is a group of Czech and Slovak people gathered around flight combat simulator IL2 Sturmovik.
We do not like fight against computer only, we flight and fight through an Internet, people against people. We are not organize, we are just group of people that met and collect together. The club began at the Czech Technical University in Prague, department of aerospace engineering. But in time some people found us by means of Internet and we are a group of fans gathered around IL2 and dedicated server CZ_AH_Dedicated now.
We have no organization, no officers, no commanders, we do not notices numbers of triumphs or losses, we just play a great game. We are flying how we want. By the way, the name of our club was joke originally, but it works... (Asfaltovi Holubi could be translated from Czech language to English like targets for shot guns fire training.) (Maybe "Clay pigeons")
We are not ace pilots, we just play a game and sometimes every of us really feel like a real fire target.
Sometimes we are not considering in a firing. Then we are flying a formations, aerobatics and do some crazy things with a flying machines ;-) IL2 has really good flying model so the aerobatics is very nice.
Most of us feel, fly alone is not the best things, so we are separate into two sides: Blue (at WWII axis forces: Germany, Finland, Italy, Japan, ...) and Red (Russia, USA, Great Britain, France, ...). Sometimes we are collected to a small cooperating groups. Sometimes we are flying a wing of bombers and so on. Most of us use "radio" for speaking with another aeroplanes during flight.
We have our own non-stop IL2 dedicated server, CZ_AH_Dedicated. For formation flying, aerobatics, air race and so on we have CZ_AH_Special server. Most of us fly evening or at night (Central European Time, UTC+1) or at week end if the weather is not good. Server is open to everybody from the whole world.
We are just players, our motto is: playing people do not annoy ;-)
